New to the upgrade stereo. Streaming some decent content to it, made it wake up. Very decent bass

Issue I have is switching to FM, the sound is very bright and lacks bass.

I have the EQ set neutral, and the sound dial between 12 o'clock and 3.

Surround on, balance just to the right of drivers head.

Curious if anyone has a tip of what works for multiple sources........

Didnt think it was much of an upgrade during test drive, but streaming amazon music via carplay, it's a definite improvement over the standard system.

Try setting your fade (front / back) to the back seat, literally at the front edge of the back seat. It will improve the sound, or at least it does for me.

HD stations are much better sounding. Regular FM has little low range and a ton of uppper frequencies.

Pardon the ignorant question, what upgrade? Did you install an aftermarket stereo system?

Ive had a chance to try 3 different sources now, and play more with the settings.

Part of my dilemma may just be that the B&O shows up the flaws in the sources.

Other thing is with so many speakers, mostly upper range, B&O possibly exaggerates the high end.

FM radio - thin and lackluster, no bass (like AM is on other radios) on B&O, vs just fine in the Select's
And by just fine, full upper end, some bass on Select. B&O's FM is awful.

Sirius XM - Barely OK on B&O, High weighted, poor bass, bit better than FM. Nice upgrade to FM on Select. Wont be subscribing.

Streamed - (Amazon Music, carplay) kicks ass on B&O, best audio choice on Select.
Streamed content has solid low bass and full upper end, not watered down like Sirius content.

As long as I stream to the B&O, the tunes are miles better than the select. When I goto FM for local news, it's annoyingly poor.

If you want to improve the sound of your B&O system, search the forum for "sound deadening", posted by @markboris. You'll find a ton of stuff. Here's one example but this isn't the specific one I was looking for. In the one I was looking for Mark describes (with pics) what he has done to sound deaden multiple Mach-Es. I'd keep searching for it but it's late and I'm tired.
