What is a good EQ (not surround) setting for the B&O sound system? It's only three. What does midrange do again? What is your setting for mainly Hip Hop (2000+ < 2012 year around) or some rock classics. I may need two settings for the reason of when those music's were recorded. And for what I like to hear now .

I don't want the highs with too much treble. And I like bass. Givin what we are able to tweak. This should be simple as it's only three to tweak. I have a setting right now. Just wanted to know what y'all preferences are.

It's whatever sounds good to you. It's all very subjective.

Best thing to do is think of the highs, mids and lows as “groups” of frequency ranges. So, if you have any version of iTunes or any other music program that with display the “EQ” bars (UE has an app that does also) you can kind of match the sliders to that of the different levels on those EQs you like. I personally have bass and treble almost maxed and mid only one step up, but I use surround.
