Here’s a new one. I got in my car yesterday after having just driving it 20 minutes before and there were loud popping sounds coming from the right rear speaker. It almost sounded like base thumps, but short and sharp.
I turned the volume all the way down to not damage the speaker and that stopped the issue. As I started driving I started hearing occasional pops again. The pops coincided with my car accelerating so I thought it might be the propulsion sound, so I switched to whisper and the pops stopped.
It appears that any noise coming through the that speaker was causing pops. I tried turning up the Volume slightly and I could hear the normal sound through the other speakers just fine.
I did a sync reboot thinking that might fix it, but it didn’t. I then tried changing the driver profile, since I have a different speaker pan setting on the guest profile. That solved the problem. I then went back to my profile and the problem did not come back.
It appears like it was maybe an issue with the ACM, and toggling audio setting caused it to fix itself.
Has anyone else come across this?
