For few month i had a persistent bug, real annoying, speaker volume from Carplay sources was super low - compared to built in radio. could barely hear podcasts or youtube, but radio was loud adn normal.
(nothing seemed to work: Sync reboot, disconnect bluetooth, reboot phone, put car to sleep, 12V cold reboot ....)
Finally AI suggested to make a dummy NEW driver profile ... that did the trick and somehow reset the internal gain values for carplay. odd enough even going back to my original profile was fixt in this way. no idea why it would clean up the memory.. but it did. Sound is all normal now. (still crappy factory base)
