Auto Retract Side View Mirror Malfunction

I like the auto-retract function of my side view mirrors. Last Saturday, I took my car to a car wash. When they were done, and I got in the car, the mirrors were retracted, but the car was on. My assumption is that someone pushed the mirrors by hand into the retracted position, so I got out and manually put them back. But when I got home, they no longer auto-retract for me. I checked the settings: auto-retract is still on. I cycled it to turn it off and back on. Anyone know how I can make it work again?

Does the button by the window controls open and close them properly or they just don't move when you press them? Give this a go from the owner's manual:

If the power-folding mirrors are manually folded, they may not properly work even after you re-position them. You need to reset them if:
• The mirrors vibrate when you drive.
• The mirrors feel loose.
• The mirrors do not stay in the folded or unfolded position.
• One of the mirrors is not in its normal driving position.

To reset the power-fold feature, use the power-folding mirror control to fold and unfold the mirrors. A loud noise could occur when you reset the power-folding mirrors, this sound is normal. Repeat this process as needed each time the mirrors are manually folded.
