We took delivery of our Premium Ex AWD on 2/4, and being Job 2, BC has worked from the beginning ::sorry, y'all::.
I've gotten one Map Update OTA, and show an expiration date in the car. But when I look online at Connected Services, it's still "Activation Pending."

BC works great, so I'm not really worried about this, but... anyone have an idea when they'll actually start my subscription/trial?

You have no "trial". You get 3 years of use, for which you paid $600. I suspect it will eventually show the date of purchase, otherwise it would not be working.

That's great, except I didn't pay $600 for BlueCruise, so while my terminology of "trial" may be off, I haven't signed up for BlueCruise, even though I was perfectly ready to do so upon delivery, so I'm thinking of it this way for now.

Here's the relevant portion of the window sticker. $5,000 for the Extended Battery, $240 for the rubber mats. but nothing for BlueCruise, other than it being present on the list.

The larger question I was asking was this: has anyone else seen this behavior after two months of ownership and active use (we're at 3500 miles), and when will it "turn on" so I can see the actual expiration date?

Everyone who got BlueCruise from the factory paid $600 for it. But you won't see the charge on your window sticker because they added $600 to the MSRP instead of itemizing it.

Thanks for the clarification, but again, the live question wasn't what or if I paid for it. What I'm trying to find if anyone else has been stuck in this limbo activation state post delivery, because at the moment, it hasn't changed for the last two months. And if you came out of activation, what kind of date did it give for expiration (was it correct, was it later, was it earlier, what was it?)

Perhaps the background would help - I'm just trying get a recurring expense onto my family's financial calendar, and it is helpful to know when then next renewal will be charged. That's pretty much all I'm asking for here.

Generally, no. Most people with BlueCruise have an expiration date listed in Connected Services. If you want to hedge your bets, just plan for $600 on the 3-year anniversary of purchasing your car. That's the most likely scenario unless the price changes between now and then.

Yeah, that's where I am for the moment. If anyone else is stuck in this limbo and finds this thread ages from now, and something different happens than the the expected behavior noted above, please let me know.

Of course we have no idea IF Ford will charge $600 for 3 years / $200 per year, or more, or less, or if it will be free due to competitive pressures.

I paid the $600 +$50 tax, and I just cancelled before the 14 days. I didn't use it before and I haven't used it since. Don't know why I activated it in the first place, I think it was FOMO.
