Best (Looking) EV under 50K?

This touches so many nerves....
Just because you're at a point in your life that you can responsibly afford something fun, and then GET something fun, does not qualify as a mid-life crisis. Buying something impulsively that makes you happy doesn't qualify either. Enjoy your car guilt free, my friend.

I guess I never had time for a midlife crisis. Now at the age of 71 with 60 cars and 15 motorcycles behind me, I just get something that looks fun and hang onto it for a little bit and then trade it in or sell it. My son hates it when he hears about me looking for another car. How long you gotta keep that one a week lol. Right now all I’m doing is looking at which electric car I wanna get two years from now that’ll be my next buy. And every time one looks like it’s got all the great features and everything. There’s like three features that it doesn’t have so it’s a process. I’m gonna say at this point it’s not gonna be brand or it’s not gonna be who is the CEO whatever looks the best for what I’m looking for that’ll be it probably between 50 and 60,000.

I have to agree that selection of vehicles. I think they could’ve picked a few different ones to replace some of the ones they had there for looks. And I know it’s for vehicle vehicles under 50,000 but even like the blazer or the equinox you can get that even in the SS with the blazer, you can get that under 50 but then you watch a video of a guy doing a half hour review on it and then it’s the same thing I have seen from many GM products he said just driving across my grass in the yard. The front end was creaking. The sunroof was making a weird squeaking noise and I’m like just when I was thinking, the SS blazer could be a cool vehicle all the same little nuisances I hate.

80% of people buy one of those 3 colors.

Looks are subjective.

Personally, I prefer the original K/5 Blazer to the #NoTaBlAzEr SS.

When you do the combination right like you did here I’m totally on board do I wish they had crazy ass colors out there like lime green and very bright yellow hell yeah well you have one other person in the family where the deciding factor is it’s gotta be silver oh well lol. The white one was mine and the very colorful one included here I saw somewhere, but I love that combination as well..

The Gen1 K/5 ('68-'72) was larger than the Bronco of the '60s and early '70s and had rounded shapes to the fender tops. The "Square-Body" Gen2 '73-'88 (I think they ended in '88) looked like the '70s/'80s Broncos.

As I keep going through my research, the more I study all the comparisons of each vehicle as far as Comfort this option that option configured this tonight very high contender against a couple of others I was looking at.
I just wanted to add that price at the bottom that’s loaded up that’s with lifetime blue Cruise 1.5 interior options. Just wanted to add that building the GT with all the added performance packages and no glass roof is actually a better bargain. Same color with some Matt clear stripes looks pretty good. We’ll see happy new year everybody.

If you can get the $8,000 in rebates I'm seeing right now off that price you might be forced to pull the trigger

A lot of the GTs on the lot have the panoramic roof which I have in my Premium but wouldn't get a second time. Personally the glare coming above your head from the midday sun is annoying (to me). Pano roof is beautiful at night when parked lol.

I thinking a GT with basically no options except the performance upgrade and do the rally Springs and sway bars upgrade after you get it.

Or option a 2026 Rally where you don't pay for the stripes, side decals and the rear spoiler but do pay $495 for a (small) frunk.

I had the glass roof on my 23 GT and I kept it covered with the liner on the inside I bought so that’s the only reason I wouldn’t get the glass again.

I've got the sun shade and it's not like I think to take it out every time I'm driving at night so it's pretty much stayed up there the last 8 months.
