I guess I never had time for a midlife crisis. Now at the age of 71 with 60 cars and 15 motorcycles behind me, I just get something that looks fun and hang onto it for a little bit and then trade it in or sell it. My son hates it when he hears about me looking for another car. How long you gotta keep that one a week lol. Right now all Iām doing is looking at which electric car I wanna get two years from now thatāll be my next buy. And every time one looks like itās got all the great features and everything. Thereās like three features that it doesnāt have so itās a process. Iām gonna say at this point itās not gonna be brand or itās not gonna be who is the CEO whatever looks the best for what Iām looking for thatāll be it probably between 50 and 60,000.This touches so many nerves....
Just because you're at a point in your life that you can responsibly afford something fun, and then GET something fun, does not qualify as a mid-life crisis. Buying something impulsively that makes you happy doesn't qualify either. Enjoy your car guilt free, my friend.
