Even though the chart is just an estimate you have to look at both green lines.Ok, I’m confused again (sorry). I must not be reading the graph correctly. For example, it looks to me that the graph is saying that, at 3500 RPM, the Mustang Mach E produces 475 ft-lb of torque and 475 HP, at at 8000 RPM, the Mustang Mach E is also producing 475 ft-lb of torque and 475 HP?
The thicker green line is horsepower, the thin green line is torque.
In terms of what you FEEL when you drive a car, it’s torque.
At low rpm’s with 700 tq it will feel twice as fast as at high rpm’s with 350 tq.
And based on actual acceleration, we know that you don’t get full peak tq from 0 rpm. It ramps up to about 30 mph then drops off from there.
