Many thanks. I know I’ll be plenty sore tomorrow after the adrenaline wears off - but that’s what Ibuprofen is for.
Your hearing might be damaged from the air bag deployment. I know mine was back in December 2022. Hearing in my left ear is quite a bit worse compared to my right. Hearing tests show that both were affected, and my tinitus is 5 times as bad as it ever was...

? SO sorry you had to experience this and of course glad you were not injured. Sadly, you are not the first, nor likely to be the last, forum member to post crash photos. However, you are once again proof at how safe this car is. Please update on next steps.

Glad you're ok. Have seen some pretty nasty Mach E accidents posted here without serious injuries. It's definitely earned that 5-star crash rating.

Not surprising to hear this. Airbags are considered explosives and you need an explosives license to work on them. If an airbag recall happens, you should get it taken care of. It wasn't until the explosions were sending out shrapnel killing people did the really kick it into high gear and get taken serious.

Pretty good, thanks. I didn't need any Ibuprofen or Tylenol today, so I'd call it a win. I'll probably get back to some light exercise tomorrow. I've spent the past couple of days taking things a little easy.

First of all, I want to thank the engineers at Ford who designed the Mustang Mach E. It saved my life today. The anti-intrusion beams in the doors and the incredible stiffness of the chassis did their jobs - and then some.

The other car - a Land Rover Discovery - hit me broadside at about 45 mph. The airbags in my car deployed, of course, and by the time I had my wits about me again, I unbuckled my seat belt, moved the side air curtain out of the way, and got out of the car. Except for some stiffness and probably soreness tomorrow, I’m unharmed.

My car is probably totaled - I’ll know more in the next few days. Top of my list for my next car is another Mach E. I’ve said since the first day I had one that it was the best car I’ve ever owned. Today it showed me why it was even better than I’d imagined.

Thanks. If anything about my condition changes, I will.
If you have any plans to take it to a lawyer, you will need the doctor’s evaluation, maybe X-rays of back & neck.

I broke my back in a head-on collision in ā€˜17 and the more evaluations the better. I’m still having balance issues 6 years later.

Really sorry to hear about your accident and that you're still having issues! I'm beyond lucky - already off the Ibuprofen as of yesterday and I'll be resuming some light exercises today (I took a couple of days just to rest). The Good Lord was looking out for me and I'm very grateful.
