Blue cruise

I often drive into work between 5:45 and 7:00 in the morning. Typically I'm heading east and on the interstate. What I have noticed is that the Sun and the angle of the light coming into the car will cause blue cruise to deactivate. Is anyone else experienced this?

Yes. Many. Posted often, known issue.

This is an issue for many cars. My Subaru CrossTrek's adaptive cruise control, which is camera based, would also throw an error under these conditions.

The human eye's dynamic range is truly amazing when compared to the silicon based alternatives.
