BlueCruise Expired

I am one of the people that have a Job 1 Mach-E that was offered a blue cruise extension of $600 for 3 years. I took them up on the offer because I use BCHF for about 120 miles/day on my commute to and from work.

On Jan 1 I received an email saying to update my payment method because of an issue (card used is fine). Upon trying to update payment method and purchase the blue cruise subscription, the only option available is for the standard rate of 800/year. Which is sad because there is no way BCHF is worth that much over the standard hands on lane centering.

I called ford and it’s a known issue, frustrating as I can no longer use blue cruise! Does anyone’s BC work?

Yes, a lot of people have been reporting this. For most, the charge was declined by the bank because of suspected fraud, and Ford doesn't allow a retry. They're fixing it.

My payment went through fine, and I used BC yesterday.

For those of us who placed our renewal order by 12/31 and the card processed properly, BC continues to work just fine (really fine )

I renewed BC for $600 last month, but Ford didn’t charge my card until Jan 1, and BC was disabled for all of Jan 1, resuming on Jan 2.

The "offer" that you see people talking about is only for 2021 Job 1 cars. Your 2023 will only qualify for the normal price of $800/year. Something to ponder as you wait for your expiration in a couple of months.
