I have a 22 premium I bought new. It came with a 3 year Blue Cruise and I got 1 year free for a total of 4. However the current renewal price for me is at $600 a year. If I got the $250 per year option I would get it, but for $600 I will hold the wheel.

So, I just noticed that I did, in fact get the discount offered. I was just looking in the wrong place. I kept looking in “Messages” and there was none. I then scrolled down the Home Screen of FordPass and found it down there:

I'm hoping to get this offer once I let mine expire.

I like using BC but I just don't do that much highway driving where it's available. I just canceled my auto-renewal. What with the state of the economy taxing my budget more and more each month I just can't afford the occasional luxury of the hands-free option.

When I started driving, it only had gas, brake, clutch, column shifter (3-on-the-tree), steering wheel, and 2 rear view mirrors (inside and driver side outside). I still know how to drive unassisted, but oh my, how I've gotten spoiled. Love my MME!
Likewise. I got to use BC the other day for a short(ish) jaunt and it put a smile on my face. It's a cool feature, but in the 2+ years I've owned my MME, I've probably only had a chance to use it a half-dozen or so times. Luckily, I still have time left on my included 3 yr subscription, but I can't see it being worth renewing with how little I use it.

I assume they monitor your usage of BC. I wonder if they don't offer the discount if they know you use it regularly, since you're more likely to miss it.

Good point. They probably have some complex equation for figuring out who uses it so much that they'll likely pay full price vs. who uses it casually and likely won't pay unless it's discounted. It seems to be partially based on model year, too, though.

I wish they'd just go for volume and decrease the price for everyone. I know there are some who wouldn't even pay $250/yr for it. But I think it's worth that. They'd make more money from me at $250/yr than at the current full price. I really only "need" BlueCruise once or twice a year when I do a long, multi-state trip. When my current subscription expires I would only be willing to pay full price at the monthly rate, one or two months out of the year. But at $250, I'd just pay for the whole year and enjoy it on shorter drives as well.
