Yesterday I took my 2022 Premium SR to the dealer for the 10K service and today I got OTA 6.14.0. Now things with my iphone 15 Pro Max are not working.
I went into 'connectivity' and discovered bluetooth turned off. I turned it on and it ask if I wanted to disconnect from carplay. I punched yes and the
bluetooth came on and my phone showed - connected. I went to phone list and turned on carplay and the bluetooth. disconnected. I repeated this several
times with the same result. The problem is when you call someone you cannot hear the other person.

Any suggestions? Is this an artifact of 6.14? or should I head back to the dealer?

Wireless Carplay does not use Bluetooth for connectivity. In fact, it seems to be mutually exclusive. If Bluetooth is enabled in the car, wireless Carplay will not work. This has nothing to do with 6.14.

It’s one or the other. On the phone list when you connect with CarPlay the Bluetooth connections are disconnected.

Actually, the initial connection to wireless CarPlay is made through BT. There is an exchange of information about the access point in the car that allows the phone to then connect via Wi-Fi, and then the BT connection is dropped. But forcing BT back on for the phone will drop wireless carplay as you see.

You might want to set up CarPlay again.

I would borrow another phone and try it out before going to a dealer.
My Iphone SE doesn't connect with bluetooth so I use the USB port.
When my wife gets in the car with her newer Iphone, it immediately connects to bluetooth.
With Ford updates and Iphone updates, it's hard too keep them in sync.

Updates to the phone and updates to the MME are not synchonized. One may mess up the other.
For example, I have an old Iphone SE and bluetooth used to work on Carplay. Now it only works by wire.
When my wife gets in the car with her newer Iphone it immediately connects to bluetooth. So rather than take the time to figure the problem, I live with it.
Another reason I won't trust "phone as a key".
