Bonnet Frunk problem

Just had an incident where a child ran out infant of me there was quite a bang but miraculously child is ok other than a bruise The bonnet sprang open and it can't be close is there a fix fro this or does it have to go into garage ?

Your frunk should not have opened, it has a double latch. Therefore, if it opened, it's damaged. Nobody can diagnose over the internet what needs to be done, especially without a picture.

You may be describing this Pedestrian Protection feature on the European trims. In America, we just build our front ends higher so you neither have to see nor feel the inconvenience of running over a child.

I struggled to close the bonnet (Frunk) when opening it opens from the rear first obviously something wrong having struggled to close it I do not want to open again so picture would not show much. I have been told that modern cars are designed for bonnet (frunk) to open on impact and protect windscreen and after needs to go back to garage. Its drivable now and will contact dealers on Monday
