I have fitted a 2021 Mach-e system to my 1965 Ford Falcon sedan delivery and it's almost finished! I need to know how to get rid of the Frunk fault as I no longer have a frunk on my car . I have tried fitting the frunk module along with the related wiring but cannot get rid of the fault display on the IPC . I have connected a forscan to my car but i can't find an option to delete the frunk. My car never had an ajar switch for the frunk and even though I tried fitting one , no change (sigh). what does the frunk module use to detect frunk closure?
I have the factory wiring module but , I see no means to fool the system to cancel the fault>

The Mach-E's frunk (hood) latch has a built in ajar switch which detects it's closure. Either you don't have this latch/switch incorporated in your setup or it's not wired correctly.

Hmmmmm .Is the latch switch not just a simple on/off switch ? I jumped the wiring to simulate a switch . Is it possible the BCM is not seeing a connection through the aux relay box and is setting a fault?

Do you not have a wiring diagram for the Mach-E?

There are two wires going to the hood ajar switch. Blue/Orange and Black/Green. Blue/Orange goes to the BCM, Black/Green is ground. As long as the Blue/Orange is grounded, the BCM thinks the hood is closed.

My car never came fitted with an ajar switch. According to the Ford wiring diagram , only the RHD models have one.

Nope, yours had a two-pin connector on the hood latch for the ajar switch.

Listen: The ajar switch is supposed to connect via the BU-OG wire to pin#26 on the BCM connector C2280e . The car I used as a donor never had a wire connected to pin #26! It has been suggested to me that the frunk latch switch is used to detect frunk closure

Don't know why your donor car didn't have this wire at pin #26 to the BCM. The North American wiring diagrams I have from '21 - '24 all show this wire in the diagrams. Was the car from a different area than North America? Yes the hood latch (ajar) switch is what detects if the hood is closed.
