I'm still tempted to buy this but the tariffs, orange man, etc drove the price waaay too high to get import it into Canada (guessing $2500 if fees and tariffs are added up). Shelving the idea for a future plans. Could've sworn the price was much more reasonable when it was first released..

Sadly, the only version of the product that interests me is the unobtainium one with support for custom sound schemes - My Storm Trooper edition Rally GT absolutely deserves to sound like Darth Vader's tie-fighter

Yeah, I only want the app version too. JEG's has the $1600 one that is supposed to use the app. Afraid to order it in case it doesn't. It also says it ships from the manufacturer, but the website doesn't show it as available. So, not sure if I'd ever get it.

Nobody has the new version, Borla has not shipped it yet. If it was coming on 12/8, Borla would have announced it. I predict it won't ship until next year.

I sure hope so, but I have visions of a bunch of machinists sitting around the computer making chimpanzee noises - desperately hoping for ChatGPT or Claude to save their asses trying prompt after prompt to "vibe-code" a functioning app
