My IQ must be room temperature because I'm just happily driving around with all the safety features on except for lane keep assist.

*derp derp*

Turning it on with a single press of a button on the steering wheel sure is awesome... Especially when using adaptive cruise control and lane centering on the highway.

No matter what companies do, they will always piss off someone. What some like, some hate. They cannot win no matter what they do.
Was there a previous thread of people yelling and complaining about the speedometer being in the middle of the screen?

This is what y’all are complaining about losing?
Yes.

After a quick search, I don't think so... I just found posts dating back to 2021 that said speed is harder to read when it's shifted over to the right. It is. Tried it out again this morning and I'd only be able to see half of the second digit.

I checked from the car and it says the update was interrupted. It allowed me to start it now, and it is now running after counting down for 2 minutes.
It did complete the update and the ugly car is back in the middle. I checked all of the previous settings and they are the same. One weird thing - I mostly drive in whisper mode. When I looked at the modes it was on engage. I tried to set it to whisper and it went back to engage. I went to unbridle, then I was able to go to whisper.

Beep BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEP .Come on man .15 miles UNDER the speed limit ...DO THE SPEED LIMIT GRANDPA !!!!!!!!
Clearly they’re in the new “bridled” mode. I heard it’s coming in update 6.9.

Center speedometer with a 15 mph below the speed limit maximum.

And Whisper Mode becomes Deaf Mode. Ford won't listen to your complaints about how slow it is.

(Deaf Mode sounds like an 80s band).

I have the same problem after every update. Now THAT is something worth fixing…

Looks like 6.8 also removed the turn by turn direction on IPC.
It doesn’t remove them, it just changes the behavior so it only shows the message when you get close to a turn. This is actually an old update, I had it on my 2022 J2.
