Shortly after buying my CR1 in March, I noticed an issue with the weather stripping on one side of the liftgate (pictures at the bottom of this post). The stripping doesn't seem to fit in the seam and protrudes out beyond the surface of the car. I had it "fixed" under warranty last week, and the problem came back two days later after initially appearing fixed. I revisited the dealership this morning, and (although they're willing to replace the part again) they say Ford has updated the part, and that's just the way it is. I'm confused that it initially seemed fixed, and more concerningly, the weatherstripping part on the bad side is loose. I looked at a couple of other Mach-Es while I was at the dealer, and although they don't seem to be protruding beyond the surface to the extent mine does, their weatherstripping did seem to bulge more than I would expect. So, am I crazy, being too picky, or is this a legit flaw?
