Cabin air filter replaced today

Replaced the factory unit at 10k with a Pureflow. Stock one was filthy. So I figured I replace the Pureflow one after 10k for a comparison and in my haste did not take any pics this time ?

I will say that it was pretty dirty too. Enough so that I'll stick to the 10k interval.

Yours may last longer depending on your environment. I didn't expect it to be that bad here, but you never know I guess

It’s very easy to change. It’s behind (or above depending upon your preferred perspective) the glove box. Here’s a video from a while back on doing it.

I pulled mine out to look. Those little tabs are just asking to get snapped off. It's simple. pull the little shock thing off the right side of your open glovebox, push in the tabs on the glovebox, to drop it all the way down. Look up inside, push the two little tabs out, drop that door pull filter out nicely. Put new one in. Took 2 or 3 min to pull and replace. sadly I had the wrong size on the shelf so I have to buy another someday.
