The bottle of Rain-X I ordered just arrived. Plan to do this after my Mach-E gets its next (also its first!) bath.

I’m going to try it, but when I read about it in reviews looks like people say it leaves a hazy film, has anyone experienced that?
Since this is a ceramic-infused glass cleaner, it leaves behind some ceramic protection. The hazy film could occur if 1) you apply too much product 2) apply it too often or 3) don't wipe off correctly. I use a similar ceramic glass cleaner from Griot's Garage and they recommend not applying it more than twice a month and to use regular glass cleaner between applications if needed.

Whenever a product instructs me to wipe with one side of a microfiber and then turn it over to dry with the other side, I always just use two separate microfiber towels. That way you are more likely to keep your microfiber dry for the final wipe.

sorry but a bump re: how often folks are re-applying this product?

When I ceramic coated the car I also did it to the front and rear camera. I just now realized I forgot the ones under the mirrors. (brb)
so far it has worked well here in Seattle WA.
In Seattle as well. I’ve been using rainX washer guild (bright orange) and works amazing. But I’ll try that on the mirror's as well
