Change dealers?

Apologies if this is posted already, I couldn’t find it anywhere. I have a MME Select on order here in VA that should deliver around May. I have a job opportunity in another state that I’m considering and am wondering if anyone has had luck transferring their existing order to another dealer.

Usually you can't change dealers after an order has been submitted. You might try Ford customer service to see if they make exceptions for situations like yours.

I would also suggest explaining the situation to your current ford dealer and see if they have suggestions. I read somewhere (bronco forums I think) that the current dealer can arrange a drop ship to a new dealer - probably involves some fee for new dealer to handle the local registration work etc,. While this type of situation is not common - it happens
