I'm not sure if it's because it's so cold here in the midwest but does anyone else have issues where the charging panel door doesn't want to either close or open? Sometimes we push it 10+ times before it stays shut or opens. Sometimes you have to use some force as well

Yes search and you should find a number of them. My weapon of choice has been a hairdryer with mixed results.

It's not frozen shut just doesn't like opening and closing
The cold can make the latch sluggish and sometimes simply inoperative. Warming it seems to work or sometimes just holding it closed for a few seconds will give the latch time to move. I haven't tried this yet but if it gives me more trouble, I may try some silicone lubricant in the mechanism unless others have any suggestions. It only seems to be challenging on really cold days.
