Car won’t charge, can someone link the official ford account? Such a nightmare right before Christmas

In order (assuming the MME charges on other EVSEs):
  1. Unplug the Grizzl-E and replug it (or flip the breaker). That usually solves it.
  2. If it is a smart Grizzl-e, update the firmware. There is a bug in some of them.
  3. There is a DIP switch in the unit to disable the WIFI and turn it into a dumb EVSE. (I did this and the problems went away)
  4. Call United Chargers and have them replace the unit - They will ask a bunch of questions about the error codes on the unit but will replace it if it proves to be the EVSE

For step three, if needed, here is the procedure the United Charger guys gave me - This worked.
  1. Disconnect from the power source
  2. Open the front panel
  3. Set the leftmost dipswitch to the down position
  4. Close the front panel
  5. Reconnect to the power source

You know what’s crazy, I heated the plug in with a hair dryer and now it works. Something in the handle must have froze!

Keep an eye on it. The gun has heat sensors that should operate successfully in very cold temperatures. They are there to identify heat conditions that may be caused by poor contact with the charge port but should operate in the cold without problem. It may be that one of them is acting up in the cold and may still need service from United Chargers.
