You don't need your cell phone with EA and the MME. P&C works amazingly well. I'm also in CFL and used various EA locations here on trips.

I think your FordPass account has missing or incorrect credit card info.

When you plug in at EA or Tesla, you should have reasonable expectations that “it just works”. I think we are still a bit from this working smoothly. This is also why EV’s are getting a bad rap. I talked to a fellow Mach-e owner at a local Drive Electric event and the Dealership had no idea why his car would not P&C. In fact, he had not successfully fast charged at all. This is why I am adamant that Ford Dealers should have access to some kind of DCFC that is local. I don’t care if they cut a deal with their dealer group, the local chamber of commerce or the power company. It doesn’t have to be a 350kw. I think a simple 60kw would be adequate. What it does need is P&C capacity so they can provide adequate customer experiences. When I bought my car, the dealer wanted me to come back in 2-4 hours so they could give me an 80% car. I am not waiting 2 hours for .20 in electricity.

People are used to the standard credit-card pump routine. If we can’t deliver that, then the replacement should be better. It definitely is not better yet. Most of the customers that Ford wants will not be coming from a Tesla experience. They will be coming from a gas pump experience.
