Anyone having any charging issues after this last software update? I plug in at work (using the 120v charge) and after a 12 hour shift I’m only seeing about 1 to 2 % charge and a gain of 4km or so. I use to see 15 -19% gain depending on ambient temp but this is brutal. I’ve tried both of my 32amp ford changers(1 is warrantied and brand new) with same results. 240v charge at home there doesn’t seem to be an issue with charging. Could it have to do with the latest recall on the battery connect or module one that there isn’t a fix for yet?

12 hours of 120V is only going to add about 14% max on an extended pack FYI.

Hmm, maybe it's trying to heat the battery all day instead of charge it? The amperage on 120V is low enough it wouldn't be overheating the charge port. Can you take a look with a scan tool?

Ford messed up the battery heating logic on the previous update, so it's possible it's still not 100% correct. On level 1 it should charge the battery first and then heat it. On level 2 it should heat first and then charge. That's how it used to work last fall.

Yes the last update was done at the dealer and had to do with the heat module I think. I’ll be heading back there Monday to get it looked as I need that little extra charge for my commute. Thanks ?

I could use a scan tool but I e never used it on the electric before. Where exactly would I find charge rate or where’s the charge is going?

So I would look at the charger inlet power (kW), coolant heater power (kW) and the battery power (kW) while charging (HVAC off). On 120V you'll see about 1.0 kW input from the charger, which should be going to the battery. If it's running the heater instead, you'll see 1.0 kW heater usage and 0 kW battery power.
