I did think of explaining the reasons (too embarrassed). My garage is occupied by a project car, and lots of other "unallocated" things. Plus you cant tell from the night shot but there're 2 bikes blocking the garage. So where I park now it's the most convenient for me - outside.

Question for everyone as I'm about to pick up my ME tomorrow (lease) and am now trying to plan out the L2 charger situation...

My current plan is to get the Telsa Universal charger. My 2-car garage has two separate doors with a 2-foot wall between them. I was thinking of mounting the charger inside the garage on this narrow wall so that the charger could reach both parking spots inside the garage, as well as both spots outside. That way depending on whatever project I may have going on (like refinishing furniture) of the ME was outside for a few days I could still easily charge. But here's my question: has anyone mounted their charger at that same location between the garage doors inside the garage? And if so, if the ME pulled into the left side of the garage front-first, is the 24 foot cable long enough for to snake around the back of the car and up along the left side to reach the charging port? I know I could easily reach it if I backed in... but that would be a royal pain. And the "left side" of the garage is for my car... the right side has a little more room length-wise so we have to park the truck on the right. Thanks!

As a follow up, for now I found that if I lay a garden stake down where the door touches the concrete, it seals pretty well but the charger cable has enough play to where I know it is not getting compressed. The door closes without any adjustment. The stake is about 3/4 inch on each side. This takes about 20 extra seconds and I have gotten in the habit of charging every night. Which, by the way, causes me to not obsess over mileage. Now I just enjoy the car!
