Charging question: I purchased a 2024 Mustang Mach E. I have a NEMA 10-30 outlet installed in my garage. I am looking for a cost effective solution that will allow me to charge the car with existing outlet. Thanks.

That looks like it will work. I bought a Tesla Mobile Connector and their 10-30P pigtail to use with my Tesla to J1772 AC adapter. It works great at my co-worker’s duck club and I have also used it on my 6-50 and 120V outlets. ??

No problem with it, the charging rate will be lower. Expect 12 hours to add 70kw.

I use the SplitVolt switch and the SplitVolt charger on my Dryer outlet which is a 10-30 outlet. The Switch automatically will switch from charger to dryer if the dryer is in use. I have never tried to charge when the dryer was in use though.

We also use the SplitVolt switch and the SplitVolt charger on our dryer outlet which is a 10-30 outlet. Have not had any issues in the last 18 mos of use. Did have an electrician out prior to doing this to ensure our 220 outlet had the appropriate ground wire, etc since our house is a mid-80s ranch.
