I got mine today and was so excited. Asked family if anyone wanted to come with me to charge for a few minutes and got a resounding NOPE. The first open charger had a broken cable. Tried at 2 other spots (have to park to the right of the spot you want to use since the cables are short) and got two system charge faults. Info that came with the adapter basically said you just have to plug it in.

Yes you can, although there are certain superchargers are reserved for Teslas only. The Tesla app is the best place to check which charger is available for non tesla. There is also a small subscription fee for cheaper charging rates ($0.7 vs $1/kwh).

I never got an email so it was unexpected, especially when this was supposed to have shipped in Nov then got bumped to Dec in the status page.

Just checked status page and still says ship by Dec 2024

I am still waiting for my adapter to show up. I reserved mine back in July 2024. I kept noticing my order getting pushed back from October to November and now December. I decided to call Ford and what I was told from Ford was since there was a recall, Ford had to file a warranty claim on the chargers that were defective and replace the batch that was bad. This intern pushed the orders out by 30 days. Oh, forgot to mention there was also a pause for 30 days as well.
