Cold weather parking question

Hello everyone. I have a question about parking a Mach E in the cold. I work 12 hour shifts and will not have access to a plug to charge at work. My commute is about 90km round trip. I ordered a AWD with extended range. How will the Mach E handle being parked in -15 degree Celsius cold for 12 hours without being plugged in?

Just get in and go. I do it all the time. It was -12F here yesterday.

Use your remote start button on fordpass before you depart for a toasty vehicle. You can also precondition while unplugged. The battery draw is not that much. and you can top if off at home.

You would have to set the time you normally depart from work. Better for your battery to be a little warmer on departure if you do not mind the small energy drain.

If you click the setting on Fordpass to allow it when unplugged. See attached.

I'm not sure it's better for the battery to warm itself up before you leave instead of just warming itself up when you start driving. If you're plugged in, there's a range advantage to preconditioning without using battery power. But if you're not plugged in, what's the difference?

If I were you, I would definitely remote start the car about 10 minutes before you plan to leave. It is so awesome be able to get into a warm car when it is cold outside. Your commute distance is short enough that charging at home should be more than enough, even if you remote start daily.

The MME is really a great cold weather car, ignoring the range reduction of course.
