Color-coding choice on driving modes? Completely unacceptable, heads should roll!

So this has been bugging me for a little while but I haven't brought it up, but my poor wife was suddenly witness to a rant from me about this the other day, so I figured I had some feelings I need to get out....

The color coding on the driving modes is poorly thought out and made even worse by the automatic interior accent lighting.

Whisper = Blue
Engage = Blue
Unbridled = Orange

I get that the Whisper and Engage are -slightly- different blues, but why not something like:

Whisper = Green (or Yellow?)
Engage = Blue
Unbridled = Orange

A.) it will distinguish better between Whispter and Engage
B.) it's less stupid
C.) you'll get the choice of automatically changing your internal lighting between 3 different colors instead of 2.25 without having to dig into the menus
D.) green would make you feel more eco-friendly and superior to your ICE driving compatriots when in whisper mode

Let's put these OTA updates to use, Ford!

I'm pretty sure most people pick a mode and stick with it.

What I don't like is that the dash configures differently for each mode. I'd like to see the Engaged dash while in Whisper, or the Unbridled dash in Engage.

If the dashes can be configured, why not let the driver do this regardless of the mode selected.

Small first-world problem I'm happy to suffer.

Agree. I really hate the color orange. Not sure why, but i do. I think I will use Unbridled the most so will I be stuck in orange? That will drive my crazy

If you plan on staying in one mode, you can simply change the color of the interior lights to whatever color you want. It will be the same across all three modes but better than being stuck with a color you don't like.

what I did on mine I chose the color I like for the ambient lights and then deselected the option to change lights with each mode and I am super pleased with my option
