I feel like I often see threads asking a question like, "I have to park at the airport for three weeks, and I'm worried about how much charge my battery will lose sitting there in the cold."
So, given that my MME has been sitting at the body shop for three weeks, I have numbers.
I took it in exactly three weeks ago at 86% charged. They've occasionally done things with it, but the mileage hasn't changed, so I know they're not depleting the battery joy riding. It's been relatively cool here, with highs in the 40s to 50s (Fahrenheit) and lows in the 20s to 30s. They wake it up enough that I get updates in FordPass, and right now, it's at 82%. I also know that it's generally not sitting in their warm work bay, as the geolocation data puts it in their exterior parking lot most of the time.
So, even considering that they're occasionally opening it up, moving it around, etc., to THEORETICALLY do the body work (three weeks, as I said, with at least another week to go), it's only lost about 1.3% charge per week. (It's an extended-range Premium 4X). That's really not bad at all, given the givens, so if you're worried about that long sit in an airport parking garage, you should be good.
