your argument that engines don’t need replaced is an article saying its prevelant enough to have specific vehicles to avoid? Interesting.

ok Fox News…..
The article does not mention the percentages of those cars that need engine replacement. Is it 10% or 0.001%.

As far as written articles, people write articles for clicks, the more sensational the better.

So a Clickbait article was presented to support a point, and poorly?

Well, I brought in my 2021 “e”, for recalls yesterday. The dealership says it is eligible for a battery replacement. It’s been babied. Less than 20k miles. Never driven in cold weather. Very few public charges.
They are looking for a replacement now.

Which battery? Low volt 12v regular car battery or the big expensive high voltage battery?

If the latter, it would mean you lost more than 30% of your capacity. And if so, you may be the first.

What does your range look like? Which model?

You don't bring in your car for a recall and get told you need a new HVB without any other errors are obvious problems.

You're getting a new HVBJB would be my guess.

Dealer called back just needs junction box, said he sort of misspoke? Battery shows over 220 on 80% charge. It’s a premium 4wd.
