The difficult part I am having is the dealer I work at did not do the HVJB since they wouldn't do the glass recalls either, we took it to another local dealer where we got it looked at fairly quick and repaired in a week. I am wondering the same thing now if it was something underneath that cannot be seen without taking the shields off etc. If it was a little easier to do, I would go back to the other dealer for the noise as well.
I'm waiting with bated breath! Hopefully they narrow it down and I can get mine sorted.

How many miles on yours by chance? were at 48k, wondering if miles makes a difference with more wear and tear.

Ohhhh yea that's a big difference so most certainly is not a mileage thing. Yes, knew the miles would be put on so have the Ford one until 75k.

update to this post, dealer is having an issue pinpointing the rattle as well. Thinks it could possibly be the TSB for the rear upper trailing arm. But still waiting for ordered parts to come in. Been almost a week now.
Any further feedback from the dealer?

Going in tomorrow to have the suspension rear trailing arms replaced. TSB was created for them, but not sure it is 100% the cause. Ext warranty is covering it, will update regardless. At least if it is the case, you will get it covered under the basic warranty ?

UPDATE!!!

Upper trailing arms were replaced and the noise WAS STILL THERE! I was furious so I took it directly to the dealership that did the HVJB replacement (At 345pm). Within 15 minutes a tech rode with me, identified it was a bolt in the center underneath that secures one of the shields that is known to back out. Put it on the lift, and I was rolling in 35 minutes with no more noise!!!!!

Make sure they use a certified EV tech since they know the cars much better and know what to look for.

I am very disappointed in my dealer for not using a EV tech to diag this, also my less than a month old Edge now has 1200 miles on it as my partner had to drive it to and from work 70+each way. The 3 days I had to have the car for service, one day for diagnostic and 2 days for repair.

I am just glad its fixed, but will not be returning to the same dealer for future repairs/warranty work.

No way... a loose bolt causes that much of a creak?!? Wow, so glad you got it sorted, thankfully your HVBJB replacement dealer was on it though and didn't tell you to pound sand!

I was swearing by it that it was from one of the shields. It sounds like an exhaust rattling against the heat shield. But that obviously doesn't apply here lol

The tech noted that the lbs of torque doesn't keep it tight enough and that he sees them having to update the part or attachment in the future. So must be a common occurrence if he has seen it before.

Interesting, I think this might be different than my creak then. Mine almost sounds like squishing and creaking combined but also in the rear passenger side. But that seems to be the only thing it CAN be as it only started after the HVBJB replacement, like yours, and they don't touch the suspension, etc. At least they aren't supposed to!
