Took my vehicle in to get CSP 24N08 and a "Tire pressure monitor system" error worked on. Just got a call and was told that the CSP can't be performed unless there is an error. Also, said they checked the batteries in the TPMS but all 4 are good. So, the error doesn't say which TPMS/Tire sent the message and there isn't anything they can do.

Just wondering if this seems normal or if this is one of those dealership issues of not wanting/knowing what to do. I've brought the vehicle to this dealership (The one that I bought it from) for a couple of other things, and they always fixed the issue.

Any advise from the experts here would be appreciated.

TIA

Normal for the CSP from what I've seen. If it's not broke, they're not going to fix it. But if it is broke, they'll fix it for free.

If you go to the Tire Pressure menu when you see the error, do all of the pressures show up? I've had a TPMS error in the past and it always showed a -- for the errored sensor (and it was always the left rear). And that error came from having a dash cam, weirdly enough. I've sort of solved it by adding a ferrite core to one of the dashcam power wires. I've still seen the error once or twice since then, but it is SUPER rare now.

Next time the TPMS error comes up I will look at the Tire Pressure menu. Thanks for the info.
