Just got started on the forum. Picked up a pre-owned '23 Mach-E Premium on Saturday. So far, so good. It's our first EV so I'm still learning some of the ins and outs but plan to get a Bolt for my newly-licensed son this fall.

Curious if we have a "tips & tricks" thread for things like door code bonuses (found the 7/8 Frunk one already ?), etc.

I'm a software engineer so of course this thing intrigues the heck outta me already. I have lots of questions but, of course, will search before posting ;)

Tip - read the manual - a lot of good info in there!
Yes already spent a bunch of time going thru all the stuff in there. Was a bit disappointed no "book" and that I had to sit in the car to do it all (I usually take the book as nighttime reading for a few days when I get a new vehicle) but got it done :)

It's been a bit confusing that not having some features enabled results in "warning" messages about faults, etc. instead of just saying, for e.g. "BlueCruise not Active, Lane Centering unavailable"

Enjoy it and ignore all the puff, stuff & nonsense you’ll read about 12V battery condition & charging and frothing about updates which happen when they happen?

download a .pdf manual from ford site. I keep it on my phone because you never know when you might need it, and not have access to the car. https://www.ford.com/support/owner-manuals?gnav=footer-support

Congrats on the new MME and welcome to the forum! ??

I see you've already installed aftermarket wheels. Any further mods planned? ??

Delete all driving history so car starts to adapt to your driving not the previous owner . I do this entering and leaving winter to get a more accurate range estimate

They did a factory reset on the main computer before I drove it home so... I should be good there? But, nice tip on the winter/summer suggestion! Temps don't swing too much here in Seattle so I'll see how it does w/o for a year then adjust accordingly!
