Dealer Processing Fees and X-Plan

I know that the X-Plan caps the doc fees at $100, but I've seen reference to "Dealer Processing Fees" on dealer web sites (and my last two car purchase contracts have them as well, but no doc fees). Are these the same? And have those of you who bought their MMEs in MD/DC/VA on the X-Plan successfully changed the fee to $100, or did your dealer claim that it wasn't the same as a documentation fee?

A fee by any other name still smells as sweet (or certainly smells like something). Regardless of what they call it, the dealer fee should be capped at $100.
