Dealers Accepting X Plan?

I am at 14 weeks and still awaiting a build date. Since I will have been a member of MCA for at least 90 days before I see my car (if ever), I asked my local salesman if they would accept X plan pricing, and he said he would ask the manager. If it is a NO, has anyone attempted to switch dealers after ordering but before production? Thanks in advance for your advice!

You'll have to canx your order with the existing dealer and re-order with the new dealer. You will lose your place in line and have to start over.

Oh, and your current dealer should refund your deposit. And while you may cancel your order with the dealer, they will most likely keep the order in place and have it delivered to sell to the public. No impact on you.
