Only used departure settings once, set to medium and the cabin was like a pizza oven and the seats you could fry an egg on.

What is the cool setting anyone know? I am hoping it's the settings the car was left at? 20.5 degrees in my case, any ideas.

I dread to think what the warm setting is like.

None of the options are "the settings the car was left at". If they were, they would say "LAST", which is possible using Remote Start. Clearly you should try "Cool" and see if that works better for you.

Oh and remote start doesn't work in the UK, well it doesn't on mine.

Remote start does work in the UK I use it all the time when it’s cold, I believe there is setting somewhere that disables it so maybe check your vehicle settings

Here in the USA., departure settings are...

Cool = refrigerator / ice box
Medium = about 71 degrees F (heated seats/steering wheel on/off depending on external temp)
Warm = pizza oven

Remote start does work in the UK I use it all the time when it’s cold, I believe there is setting somewhere that disables it so maybe check your vehicle settings

Thanks will have a look, I assumed incorrectly that we didn't have it as a lot of the remote phone function's don't seem to work.

So probably best to set a departure time with cabin settings NONE and then remote start 10 mins before it ends? Is that even possible?
