I've been trying to validate that my TCU is in the provisioned state (I strongly believe it is as the app works, Ford.com has everything,) but I have not received an OTA in some time (still on 3.5.4.2 for quite some time.)

I believe the APIM is working as the dealer applied the HVAC update last week.

The issue is the Diag screen is not actually opening, so I am unable to see what's going on TCU-wise. I hold Vol - and 'Rewind', and I get the car icon on the display, but then it stops and just goes back to Android Auto.

I've gone as far as disabling my phone's connection to the car so Android Auto is not in the mix, and it does the same thing, but rather than going to Android Auto, it just goes to the main "connect your phone" screen.

Any thoughts?

The diagnostic screen is triggered with volume down and next, you just keep holding it after the screen reboots until you see the diagnostic screen. Same buttons as a restart, just keep holding.

Thank you. I had misread another thread regarding how it worked.
