DID MY HVJB JUST FAIL??

I received this warning on the car and the Ford Pass App this morning after pulling out of my driveway on the way to work. I did charge last night (Level 2) - Juice Box. The funny thing is I really don't drive this car very hard. She's more my "Baby" than my muscle car. ( I get my "thrills" from the 67'). So, it has not been DC Fast charged in about a year and she is really never been driven "hard" as I have read from a lot of the members with HJVB failures.

I have an appt. with Ford Service on Friday. It seemed to drive ok to work, but I did park her nose out just in case.

I'm a Job 1 car. My car was ordered and pick up July 2021. Exact build date can't recall off the top of my head. If I had to say April 21' jumps to mind as build date, but don't quote me on that. Premium Long Range. No OBD reader. When I called the dealer this am he says there are a bunch of "communication error" codes that started yesterday.

The internet key pounder in me says possibly, could be, maybe. Codes? Regardless, take it to the dealer.

Did you turn it off, let it go to sleep, and turn it back on again to see if the fault message cleared?

Unfortunately without knowing what codes are stored it is impossible to tell for sure. I know a lot of people relate the SVS message to a failed HVBJB, but since there are so many other reasons for a SVS message, I wouldn't always jump to HVBJB.

It's cases like this that illustrate why with a car like this it is almost mandatory to have a simple code reader.

No, it literally did this on the way to work. I did call and the Service guy did see multiple codes.

Sorry I didn't see this yesterday. Looks like just the gearshift bug, it appears to be fine today after a restart. Not HVBJB.

Thanks, it took 2 days to for the message to clear from the car. Dealer said there were still a lot of "communication error codes" and wanted to keep it. So, I'm riding the electric bike to work today. Good thing the office is just a couple of miles from the house.
