Ding on exiting vehicle

This just started.

Power off the vehicle.
Open the door.
Starts dinging constantly (ie: sound if you turn it on before putting your seat belt on).
At least it seems to stop when you close the door.

Any ideas? I haven't tried rebooting it yet.

Yup. I’ll bet you bumped it into “On” with your knee or something getting out of the car.

It's a bug, turns on by itself. Did it to me, no way my knee got anywhere near it.

I also just posted about this exact same issue.

When I looked at the headlight selector the little orange light that indicates what its set too was not illuminated. I had to change it to off, then set it to auto with the door opened for it to stop. So far its not done it again.

Defiantly some type of software update issue given it seems like multiple people are having the issue. I've never touched that knob since I've owned the car.
