While this is true, there is also nothing stopping Ford from disenfranchising a dealership that doesn’t reflect the standard of care that Ford chooses to require. Ford can absolutely decide to not allow a dealership group to renew their franchise agreement. In many cases, they should. Imagine how customer service would improve if Ford set a standard that dealers had to meet in order to stay in business under the blue oval umbrella…
Totally agree with that analyst! Wish it could happen!

Stay away from Sunnyvale Ford. In fact run away. I had terrible service there twice. I figured the first time was just a one off and someone was having a bad day. Forgive and forget. I had the maintenance contract on my Lincoln. They just checked the boxes that they did the "work" . Got it home and the fluid that was supposed to be checked was low, tires that were to be swapped were not, etc. The second time they did me wrong, I stopped going to them. When you show up to drop your car off, they make you wait and wait and wait, while the service guys/gals BS and drink coffee. Finally, the guy that just drives the cars back and forth acknowledge me and tried his best to help. Let your wallet do the talking.

I hoping to buy, on the week of the 27th Sep, at Morgan Hill Ford. So far, everyone has good input on the buying experience. We will see. I have not heard about their service department. I have a recall on my Lincoln so I may drop it off and see what happens. I am closer to Capital Ford, but I did not get a good vibe from them the last time they did recall work. I think they are too busy and I felt just like a number. Now serving number 299.

I have a friend (Escape, ICE Vehicle) who swears by Morgan Hill Ford's Service Center, so I think you may find a winner for sure. Also stay away from Capital Ford, you hit it on the head they are a pain in the ass, sales and service. Thanks for the heads up on Sunnyvale Ford. I'm going to give San Leandro Ford a call soon and see if they have an EV mechanic worth his salt, I'm sure they will lie to me but we'll see! Thanks, for the heads up!

I was never a fan of them, try to buy a vehicle from them high pressure, just walked away! Service they sold a replacement head job to my mom and when I questioned them on it they couldn’t produce the head they replaced,! Showed me a used head that looked like it was 10 years old!!! Never been back.

I have not dealt with Frontier Ford so I do not have a comment. With @richsi comment about Morgan Hill Ford having good service, I am going to give them a try. It is worth the 25 minutes drive if they are good. Worst case, if they do not make me happy, I can always go back to Capital Ford.
