Display Experience update surprise: center speedometer & drive mode graphics returns!

I want to see the numeric SoC. I have to turn on ACC in Engage. This is usually a hit the ACC button and immediately hit Cancel. I would drive in Whisper, but the regen seems to be a bit softer requiring a touch of the brake pedal to stop where I want, and I don't seem to get the Braking Coach. If it were just the Coach, I would not care. However, Engage seems to have the level of regen I want.

Now, if we can just get the power display while charging. I want more than that, but that would be a start.

Have you tried Whisper 1 pedal plus L? That gets pretty close to Engage. It's been a minute since I've tried it though. And, remember, the car still gives you all the regen in Whisper, even if you use the brake pedal. The computer will prioritize regen and only use the friction brakes if more deceleration is required.

Not yet, but I may. Engage is fine. I just wish we had a bit more independent control over things.

Slightly off topic. I've only had my 2023 Mach E Premium for a couple of months and while perusing this topic, I noticed something. There is a small gauge on the steering column that has never provided any information on my car. It is blank all the time. What should it show and is there a way to activate it?

Thank you! Mystery solved. I looked in the owners manual and wouldn't have thought to look in the Blue Cruise info. And the visual search of features doesn't mention it. I haven't attempted Blue Cruise yet as I'm satisfied with cruise control. But if someone were to convince me that Blue Cruise is a serious game changer, I might try it...

In my opinion, for longer highway road trips it's a game changer in terms of driver fatigue and preventing stiff neck, shoulders, etc. For around town or short commutes, the value is questionable. So it's all about how you use your vehicle.

Got my new centered speedometer 2 days ago. I like it but will have to adjust to the teeny tiny car and the bright blue line underneath for remaining battery charge. I'm gonna miss the % that use to be on the left under the mileage range. I noticed THAT first before I realized the speed placement had changed.

Finally got this update earlier this week. Not impressed. We traded a top view of a small car to a side view of a tiny car, but off center. I drive in Engage all the time and the giant battery gauge across the screen is pointless. Give me a big power gauge!!

This gauge screen continues to be the most boring full digital screen I have seen in any car, especially Fords.

Same, doesn't matter what drive mode, nothing has changed yet the IPC-25.7.46 was completed. I noticed
Ford Canada says take it to the dealer and have them investigate and replicate the OTA for specific changes to the instrument display and traction control toggle.

*UPDATE* A kind FB member provided additional instructions that worked for me:
1 - turn off lane keep assist - which I had done
2- go into 'Drivers Assistance' >go to 'pre-collision' > turn "OFF" distance indicator

My display changed right away.

When advanced drivers assistance are selected the speed indication will move to the right.
There is still no toggle for traction control toggle to be deactivated in the Driver Assistance menu but I can look into that later.

I have a 2022 Premium AWD ER, and even with the software update I cannot find a way to put the speedometer in the middle of the screen. I do not see the OFF setting for the pre-collision distance indicator in my settings. I've tried every variation in the "Drivers Assistance" section, but still nothing. Very frustrating!!
