2nd biggest EV market after Cali
I think they all go to southern FL.

I’ve recently traveled from the FL panhandle to Charleston, SC. I didn’t take the EV. No good route with public DCFC. DH and I are not yet willing to go all EV in our household.

I don’t know the route you took and EA can certainly one can be not very trusting of EA, but there are several EA location on I-10. If you drive to Jax and then up to Charleston, there’s an EVGo as on the outer beltway in Jax slightly off I-10. I’ve used that EvGo station on several occasions and I’ve never had a problem charging there. And then once you’re on 95 plenty of EA stations and FPL station just north of Jax. Now if you went north on 75, the EA station(s) in South Georgia have bad ratings.

Having looked at Plugshare this week for a trip to Destin from Tampa, all of the EAs on 10 and on 75 appeared to have good ratings.

I shared some details of my short road trip Miami to Orlando here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...nfrastructure-on-south-central-florida.23700/

FPL Evolution is by far the best we have and hope they continue to expand, the rest as I stated in my post leaves much to be desired and its clear the the state of the EV Charging network outside TESLA is nowhere close to where it needs to be with the growing EV market.

Btw.
I also have installed the FPL Evolution home charger (JuiceBox) with their fixed monthly charge of $31 and I must say its a good charger and a very reasonable price for unlimited charge including the hardware
How does this work, does the charger ID a specific car? Looked into getting this and since we now have 2 EVs we are running for about $55 a month so the $31 would be good.

I did from St. Petersburg to Savannah, GA and didn't have any issues

They are more popular in the urban areas. Go to downtown St. Petersburg and they are numerous. I am the only person on my block to have an EV. Two Prius' at one house down the street. One of the owners said that my MME sounds like a spaceship, lol. The ME is still a novelty to drive around Pinellas County. Lots of questions. I am seeing another MME more frequently now. Mostly Tesla's.

Can multiple EVs use the charging equipment?
At this time, we are limiting usage of the charger to a single EV. As a future option, the company is exploring a provision for customers with multiple EVs.

No specific EV, you can charge as many EV's as you want as long as its within the off-peak hours (Midnight to Noon).

The $31 a month is if you already have the required 50Amps circuit installed, if not it's $38/Month, both options include the charger (and you have to use theirs)

Your committing to 10 Years and if you cancel earlier they charge you something like $760 to de-install the charger (and they keep it) after 5 years you can buy the equipment if you cancel

Florida turnpike does not support EV drivers !!! No non Tesla chargers at the north most service center, and chargers not working at the Duke Energy chargers at the following 2 service centers. That is 150 miles !!!!
Florida you say? I suggest avoid Hwy 101 on that other coast...

I don't care for the Governor either, but your analysis is a bit harsh. I love the weather. The charging station quality is a bit mixed (particularly around where the Governor lives), but workable.

I agree that from Miami to Orlando, FL turnpike is very good with those FPL chargers. My issue is that from Miami to Key west there is nothing, so I am not sure I can make that trip without running out of juice
There is an EA in key largo. The trade winds shopping center. Maybe mm 105-100. Another EA in key west. Bunch of level 2 at resorts and city halls
