Do Seasucker bike racks fit on the rear hatch, or just the roof?

A few people are using Seasucker racks on their Mach-Es, but I haven't seen anyone report whether they could fit bikes hanging behind the car, attached to the hatch, as opposed to on the roof. I'd love to hear from anyone with experience where they installed the rack, and if they'd recommend it.

The best thing to do is get a trailer hitch receiver installed on your car and then get a bike rack that fits into it.
Anything you put on top of car just causes wind noise and decreases your range dramatically.
Plus it’s very easy to damage your car putting a bike or anything else on top of it.

By the way I have a sea sucker and it works great and will fit on almost any car.
