What’s hard to believe? They don’t get paid until cars get delivered.

They care.

FWIW, my car showed up 2 weeks before the estimated delivery date range. It’s an estimate for a reason, so many things could change it.

Ordered Nine months ago
Finally got a build date in October
My mach e's build date was changed 3 time but........
Finally, built December 20th
Delivery set for Jan,20th, then Jan. 26th, then back to Jan. 20th ?
Today, out of disappointment, I actually called Ford and was told February 1st
Does anyone actually know, or are they just sitting at a desk and throwing darts at a calendar.

After your MME is built in a couple of weeks you’ll get a shipped date. Expect receipt of MME 45 days after that. In brief, it takes 2 months from built date to final purchase at the dealer. This was my experience.

Don’t stress the status vacuum. If you expect it you won’t be disappointed by it.
