Door creeks driver side door

My door creeks driver side 23 gt. After reading and noticing nothing lubes it to stop. I looked under seal and door is cracked. Anyone get this fixed I am still under warranty but also tired of things going wrong with this car.

Hello all...

I wanted to post this and see if anyone else is having the same issue....

I was hearing a creaking sound inside my driver side door when I open it to get out. Upon further investigation, there are small cracks in the metal near the post that stops the door from swinging wide open. they are not near any hole or spot where a bolt may be. They appear to be defects in the metal of the door. I am attaching pics of it below. I am sorry if it is not clear from my pics. It is a tough thing to get a picture of, but you can see the cracks.

Anyone else experiencing this as well?

My front passenger door check has started clicking and needs to be replaced.

My car is out of warranty and wanted to see the procedure to replace it.

Want to see if it's something I can do, or if I'm going to have to take it to the dealer.

I got it checked by my dealer. Fortunately I don't have damage to the door itself.

I was quoted $300 to replace the door check.

Going to live with it for now.

My door check 'surround' is what makes the cracking noise. Little more dust built up on it and it doesn't wobble and make the cracking noise. Must be my reward for keeping my door jambs clean.
