old thread, but in case it helps others....

i got this rattle in the rear passenger side door recently and fixed it by adding a light coat of silicone grease to the door latches.

when cleaning the car over the weekend, i was cleaning in the interior parts of the car including inside the doors and wiped off the factory grease... not realizing it was there for a reason. surprised how a little bit of grease could solve it. was worried i'd have to tear the door panel open.
