Absolutely loving the car after a month of ownership, but one annoyance if not a serious issue is the driver door open button behaves differently than all the others. Also, the capacitive lock button does not work on that door, but does for the others.

In regards to the button itself, the driver door does not light up with the white ring like the others, and it also takes two presses to open. And the biggest annoyance is probably that if the car is doing anything (IE unfolding the mirrors) you have to wait for it to finish to open. IE if the driver door is the first one opened you have to press it once which unlocks the doors and unfolds mirrors, wait for that to finish, and then press it twice to open. If opening one of the other three doors it opens on the first press right away even if it has to go through a process like the mirrors. Then to open the driver door still takes two presses. Like I mentioned, the other 3 have the lighted ring as well when you have a key nearby, but not the driver door.

The only thing I can think of that maybe caused it was when I first got the car I tried to set up PAAK but it's not supported by my phone so failed. Deleted the PAAK in both Ford pass and on the car but still doing it. Like I said, everything still functions in the end and I just lock it off one of the other doors, but has anyone had a similar issue?

Hi there! I can look into your Mach-E's lock concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Mach-E's VIN?
