Driving up steep, wet roads

New owner here. 2023 Mach E GT AWD. My garage has a steep driveway. What would you suggest as best setting to get enough grip and power driving out of it. I had a Mazda CX5 FWD that when driveway was wet it would have a hard time getting up on it, skidding and getting power.

Pretty sure the AWD works the same in any drive mode on the Mach E. Shouldn't matter which mode you are in to go up the driveway. Mach E does not have any "enhanced traction" modes like Snow mode or anything like that.

The only suggestion I would have is to press the "L" in the center of the shift dial. This puts the car in low range that is the best you can do with the Mach E. It does not change any gears but changes the way the power is applied.

It does not change how power is applied. It changes regeneration when power is not applied. It makes a difference when going downhill, or slowing to come off a highway. It won't make any difference driving up a steep driveway.

There should be zero issue driving the Mach-E up the OP's driveway.

Whisper mode helps keep power at bay. Traction control will also help, and it is automatic.

Whisper mode only changes the throttle mapping curve. It reduces the power applied at lower pedal pressures, but has to catch up toward the middle and upper pedal pressures as compared with Engaged and Unbridled. At the floor, they’re all at 100% power. ??

Thanks everyone for their advices. Well today it was raining, so got to try it. Had zero issues, so very happy. Love the car so far, driving our moun roads has been fun.

Just drive it, the car does what it needs to. With tires to suit the occasion, not much will stop the vehicle.
